String.Split


Namespace: String


Splits a string in (at least) one or more strings.


retval = String.Split(Input, Separators)


Parameters:

- Input; string constant or variable or function returning a string; the string to split

- Separators; string constant or variable or function returning a string; the character(s) to use as splitters


Returns:

Array of strings.


Example


$arr = String.Split("This is a test string.", " ");


After execution the $arr variable will contain values This is a test string. The resulting array can be iterated through using the ForEach keyword.
